About the Event
The EMBO Young Scientists’ Forum (EYSF) is a fantastic opportunity for young scientists (PhD students, postdocs) to share their findings and interests with an international and interdisciplinary audience and meet with their peers across Europe. The event brings together renowned research leaders in life sciences and is hosted annually in a European city where principal investigators of EMBO grants are based. The 13th EYSF, organized by EMBO Installation Grantees from the Portuguese academia, will take place in Lisbon – the capital of Portugal.
The two-day programme is organised in six panel sessions on different topics of the life sciences, such as Immunology, Infection and Evolution, Metabolism and Development, Aging, Systems Biology and Cancer, and Neurobiology. Two discussion panels on Diversity & Inclusion and Mentoring will take place. Participants will be able to share their findings in dedicated poster sessions and meet the speakers in specific social events, designed to promote networking. The 13th Edition of the EMBO Young Scientists’ Forum will be a great opportunity for young scientists across Europe to broaden their horizons and establish fruitful connections, combined with a visit to the beautiful city of Lisbon.
