Support mechanisms for early career researchers: The uncertainty, lack of security and ‘publish or perish’ model makes the transition to independence particularly stressful for early career researchers. COVID19 pandemic exacerbated these problems and created now ones. This breakfast will involve discussion on resources and networks that can help.

Diversity and Inclusion in Science: How should the culture of research change to include more people from different background. This breakfast will involve discussions on determining the problems and proposing solutions on how to make science more equitable, inclusive, and diverse for the benefit of all.

Selection criteria
Registration will be on a first-come first-served basis. Your place can only be confirmed after payment of the registration fee.
When submitting your abstract, you can apply for an oral or poster presentation. The selection committee including organisers of the workshop will select about 25 short talks and 20 flash talks. The committee will screen the submitted abstracts in terms of originality, quality, and relevance to the workshop theme. Priority will be given to abstracts that include unpublished data and that complement topics that are not covered by invited speakers. The organisers will ensure a balanced participation of senior and early career scientists, especially graduate students and postdocs. Likewise, they will aim for a diverse group of scientists regarding gender and geographical location.
Abstract guidelines
Your abstract should contain the following information:
- Title
- Authors and affiliations (the presenting author should be underlined)

Please indicate whether you would like your abstract to be considered for an oral presentation.
Poster specifications

They are expected to be available at their poster for discussion during their assigned session. The workshop secretariat will supply materials for the mounting of posters.
