About the Event

The EMBO Young Scientists’ Forum (EYSF) brings together young scientists (doctoral and postdoctoral) to engage with colleagues from across the continent and share their findings and interests with its interdisciplinary audience. It also features networking and presentations from renowned research leaders in the life sciences, who gather each year in a different European city represented in EMBO’s vast network.

This year’s Forum takes place at the Lithuanian Academy of Sciences in the heart of Vilnius – Lithuania’s beautiful capital city and a hub of Baltic innovation. Our three-day program includes research sessions spanning six life science areas:

  • Bioinformatics
  • Biotechnology
  • Structural Biology and Biochemistry
  • Host-Pathogen Interactions
  • Microbiology
  • Biophysics

At the 15th EYSF, you will also enjoy engaging workshops from the team at Night Science, and an epic social event at one of Vilnius’ best venues. Everyone has the opportunity to share their research at the Forum’s evening poster session, while several participants will be selected for oral presentations and awards.

Make a positive step forward for your scientific development and research career in 2025: join us at the EMBO Young Scientist’s Forum in Vilnius, Lithuania to experience, interact and integrate with Europe’s vibrant life sciences community!
