About the Event

Event illustration

The EMBO Young Scientists Forum (EYSF) is an annual event that aims to provide inspiration to early-career scientists, mainly PhD students and postdocs, via interacting with internationally recognized young group leaders. The 11th EYSF meeting offers an exciting selection of speakers who are leaders in their fields of life sciences, and are members of the EMBO Young Investigator Programme or recipients of the prestigious EMBO Gold Medal. The topics covered will include cell biology, structural biology of the CRISPR/Cas system, organ development, in vivo imaging, bacterial pathogenesis, and aging. The meeting programme further includes discussions on careers in science, and poster sessions, during which participants will get feedback on their own work. Moreover, thanks to the small format of the meeting participants will have a great opportunity to network with the speakers and with one another during social events. The 11th EYSF is organized by the recipients of EMBO Installation Grants from institutes of the Czech Academy of Sciences. Prague is the capital of the Czech Republic and is renowned for its extraordinary beauty.
